The reserve covers an area of 1250 hectares composed with primary and secondary forest in a tropical rain forest, also grasslands and mangroves, in front of the Rio Morete and the beach.
It offers a extensive variety of settings for you to find and enjoy amazing birds, reptiles, insects and mammals, or visit the Marino Ballena National Park, which is nearby the refuge.
Horseback riding tours: The experienced and inexperienced riders can enjoy horseback riding, which have been carefully trained for you to have a pleasant experience across the refuge in the woods, beach or river.

Cowboy for a Day ($55 pp)
Here you can enjoy being a cowboy. Depending on the time of year that you visit, you can ride with the ranch workers, and other workers of a normal working day at the ranch.
